James, I think you’re spot on about under exposing with the dye because the parts came out soft and sticky. Regarding the indent: there was no change in exposure settings in this area at all — very constant, and there was zero surface area changes — again very constant. But regarding shrinkage, could the object shrink and lean to one side between two discrete exposures?
@tdixon1000, the precise shift and return shift does seem like an upstream issue. Do I need to print the exact same file with exact same settings to get this? I’d like to fix some issues before reprinting. I think that I can approximate when to return and video the vat.
BTW, I have the projector and printer on a Cyberpower surge protector/backup ups. I would think that rules out electrical power fluctuation. Could it be that the z-stage rotates and rocks the build plate to one side? I really need two camera angles to get this.
