I remember I could set my slicing height to 0.5 in CW and send this over to the Kudo software and also set the layer heights to 0.5 (half a mm). This is really low resolution setting will quickly help you verify if the linear stage is returning to Z home or whether it’s really messed up. This should be enough of a change that if you have a bad camera or phone camera like I do, you can quickly record the malfunction of the linear stage and see this on low quality video.
