I have done quite a few prints since changing the settings I described above, all of them under 2 hours but usually over 1 hour. Since changing the settings I have had zero background curing on the resins I’ve tested (3DM-ABS, 3DM-XGreen, Spot-HT). I didn’t have to change the exposure times I was using either. Now, I always use an external script I wrote to turn on my projector before connecting with the Kudo3D software.
This script is written in Matlab because it’s what I have access to and am familiar with. It checks to see if the projector is already on, turns off the splash screen and messages that may come up while powering on, then turns HDMI Range to Normal.
I’ve attached the script in case anyone is interested in using it or translating it to Python and implementing it in the Kudo3D software. This is specific for the ViewSonic projector, I doubt this will be compatible with the Acer models.
