Reply To: Additional Piece of Glass or Acylic to Protect Electronics

I had the same catastrophe with the VAT. Although instead of ABS it was with 3DM Cast and it was in the first hour. I went to the bathroom and let the printer alone for 5 minutes the most and the resin was spilled on the floor and the VAT was completely ruined.
I contacted support and told me that that is not a something that happens frequently and that they didn´t understand what happened. I´m from outside the USA and they help me replacing the parts of the printer that where soaked with the resin. As for the projector, I had to sent it back to them and fixed it and send it back to me, for an exception, since the warranty is not on the projector.
So if that happened several times its an issue that the VAT should be made from a better quality as a stated to support group when I had my catastrophe.
So know, I don´t leave the printer working alone :s
It´s a pity that this things continue to happen and there is no real solutions for the problem. They keep saying the VAT are very good quality.
